Hi, I’m Sophie Mayes, a 20-year-old UK-based motorsport and automotive photographer, specialising in race action, paddock coverage, and storytelling for teams and drivers.
I’m proud to be the youngest accredited female motorsport photographer in the UK, with experience working trackside in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where timing, awareness, and consistency are essential. Motorsport has been part of my life from a young age — I even spent my 18th birthday trackside — and that passion carries through into every event I cover.

I have photographed championships including BTCC and MINI Challenge UK, delivering dynamic on-track imagery alongside behind-the-scenes and paddock content that teams and drivers can use for media, sponsors, and social platforms. My aim is to create strong, usable content that reflects performance, professionalism, and personality.
I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography and understand the importance of reliability, communication, and representing teams professionally both on and off track. Whether you’re looking for race weekend coverage, promotional imagery, or season-long content, I’m always keen to work with teams and drivers who value strong visuals and storytelling.
If you’re interested in working together, feel free to get in touch.
